About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog!

My name is Merij (Mary) Kris. I'm in my 20's, live in the Seattle area, and been married for 5 years. I was born and raised in Washington State and have been a Latter-Day Saint ever since.

One can probably tell from the lay out of my blog that I am an artist. I've found that I love to create things. Whether it be stories, characters, drawings, or music, I find true enjoyment being able to create something beautiful. My hope and dream is to one day publish stories with illustrations that paint a picture of my ultimate creation. If I'm really lucky, perhaps some of those stories will become movies and therefore I can incorporate the music I've written into them.

I don't know how realistic my dreams are, but that is why I've decided to at least share some of my passions and creations in blog form. Perhaps from here it'll grow into the bigger picture.

Those of you who were directed here from The Tales of Araja or The Stories of Iadumija, I do want to take a moment to thank you for your interest! They are very much a work in progress and for me, a way to see how far I've come, I hope you've enjoyed the stories thus far! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
