This was a recipe I found in a magazine at work. Mainly the recipe was the sauce. It is a jalapeno sauce with garlic, white wine, butter, flour (very little) and beef broth. It was spicy for sure when I sampled the sauce, but with the chicken (and avocado's I threw in to make it prettier) the spice lost some of it's power. And for a cooling factor I made a simple egg salad with ranch dressing and placed it on a romaine leaf. Delish!

ReplyDeleteWell, when we visit, I'll be sure to bring the recipe along and make it for you guys :) I'm glad I'm a natural cook because even though it's healthier, it sure has me tricked into thinking it's gourmet!
